I speak both Arabic and Farsi, does that mean I get .8 added to my score?

If I ranked my knowledge of a foreign language as level S1 when I registered for the test, but now feel it is at S2 because I have taken additional language study, will they allow me to take the telephonic test if I pass the oral section of the FSOT??
You will have an opportunity to test any foreign language while attending your A-100 class. Individuals that took the telephonic test during the FSOT p;rocess and passed will also be re-tested to ascertain whether additional coursework is necessary at the Foreign Service Institute.
Is the A-100 Foreign Service Orientation Course the start of being on the State Department payroll or should you keep your day job until you are sent overseas?
When a FSO begins their A-100 course, they are officially an employee of the State Department. In addition to your salary, you will receive a living stipend to allow for short-term housing.
